PRIVACY POLICY

I. Overview
This Privacy Policy governs your use of the DiagnosUs application and any related services (the
“Services”), and reviews how the creators of DiagnosUs (“DiagnosUs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) gathers and
uses your information. By using the Services, you accept and consent to the collection and use of your
information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to our privacy practices, do not use
these Services.
II. Information Collected by DiagnosUs
Information You Voluntarily Provide
When using the Services, you have the opportunity to provide information about yourself. For
example, we may ask you to create an account with your email address, age, medical education or
affiliation, and other biographical information. Additionally, we may allow you to take part in
competitive contests, where you compete with other users to see who can more accurately
diagnose medical images. If you participate in these contests, we will collect and record your
performance.
Information Provided by Third-Party Services You Use
DiagnosUs may give you the option to sign up for the Services through use of a third-party social
media account, such as Facebook. If you sign up for the Services using such an account, the
social media service may provide DiagnosUs with information about your account as part of that
use. What information they share is governed by that third party’s terms of use and privacy
policy.
Information We Collect Automatically
As part of your use of the Services, DiagnosUs may collect certain information automatically,
even if you are not logged in with an account. This may include the type of device you use to
access the Services, your IP address, your device’s operating system version and configuration,
and information about the way you use the Services, including time spent on the Services and
which particular features you access. Some of the information that is disclosed to DiagnosUs is
controlled by your device’s operating system, as well as any terms of service and privacy policies
presented by the operators of those devices, operating systems, and their relevant application
stores. Other information is automatically collected by DiagnosUs in order to personalize your
experience on the Services and save your performance and preferences.
III. Use of Information
Our collection of your information is primarily done in order for us to deliver, maintain, and
improve the Services, including participation in Contests. Specifically, we may use the
information we gather about you in order to:
Verify you as a valid user of the Services;
Provide you with performance reports and feedback from quizzes; and
Tailor the Services in order to offer a personalized experience.
We may also use any contact information you provide to communicate with you about your
account and your use of the Services, or to inform you of changes to the Services. The
automatically collected information described above may also be used to personalize your
experience, facilitate certain functions on the Services, and track user trends and preferences so as
to identify potential improvements to them. DiagnosUs reserves the right to retain data and
content for archival, restorative, or research purposes. Please note that some user information,
including information used as part of DiagnosUs’ research, promotion, or analysis of the
Services, may be preserved.
IV. Disclosure of Information
Some disclosure of information is inherent in using and operating the Services, and can include
the following: DiagnosUs Staff: Members of the DiagnosUs team may have access to your
information, as is needed to provide these services. Third-Party Service Providers: DiagnosUs
may work with third party service providers in order to research, operate, or improve the
Services, and may share user information with its third party service providers as is needed for
them to provide services to DiagnosUs.
To Third Parties for Recommendation Purposes:
DiagnosUs reserves the right to share information about you to third parties that are seeking help
from diagnosticians or other medical professionals, so that they may directly inquire about
seeking your professional help. If you do not want us to share your information with such third
parties, you may opt-out of our doing so by sending us an email at contact@diagnosus.com with a
request to cease receipt of some or all future marketing communications. Please be advised that it
may take a few business days to process any such request and render your opt-out effective.
Contest Scores:
If you opt to participate in any Contests, your contest score may be displayed to other users on the
Services, including via a listing on the main page containing the top user scores in the Contests.
Your contest score may be associated with the username you provided when you registered for
the Services. If you do not wish to have your information displayed on the Leaderboard, you may
contact us directly.
Legal Compliance and Protection:
DiagnosUs may share user information if it believes, in good faith that such disclosure is
necessary to comply with a subpoena,warrant, or other legal process, or if it believes in good faith
that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of
others,investigate fraud, or respond to a valid government request. Business Transfer: If
DiagnosUs is involved in a merger, acquisition, dissolution,bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion
of its assets, DiagnosUs may transfer any user information as part of that transaction.
Aggregated Data Analysis:
We may gather and use aggregated, anonymous user information, including your contest scores
and use information, and disclose that information for any business purpose, including to show
average performance in Contests, identify performance trends, and develop new methods of
monetizing the Services.
V. Health Privacy
All medical images on the Services were obtained from publicly available databases that contain
de-identified diagnostic images and datasets, or from external partners of DiagnosUs. DiagnosUs does not
independently gather these images from medical records, nor does it seek to collect any personally
identifiable information about the patients and subjects who are depicted in these diagnostic images.
VI. Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. No method of transmission over the Internet,
or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute
security.
VIII. Changes to this Policy
DiagnosUs reserves the right to modify this privacy statement at any time. The effective date of the
current Policy for the Services will be posted at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review this
information periodically. If you do not agree to these changes, you must discontinue your use of the
Services.
